    A Field Service Engineer contributes to the success of Hartwig by keeping our customers' CNC machine tools running at peak operating levels by performing repairs. The customers we serve are in a variety of industries and rely on our team to repair, inspect and troubleshoot their equipment. Main responsibilities of this full-time role based in Houston, TX include: • Conducts high quality, efficient and timely repair and installation of CNC machines • Recommend modifications and improvements to CNC machines, equipment and processes • Trains and instructs customers on service, repair and proper installation • Uses software and electrical tools to find damaged work parts and identifies permanent solutions to repair CNC machines and accessories • Ability to complete necessary tasks in our service software and timecard system on a daily basis • Traveling to customer sites, usually within 3 hours from home, with occasional overnight travel The Skills Individuals who ideally fit this role should meet the following qualifications: • Formal education or training in troubleshooting, repair and installation of CNC Machines preferred • 4 years of demonstrated mechanical and electrical experience preferred • Experience repairing CNC machines preferred • Ability to work independently, a go getter that finds the next customer that needs our help • Good driving record and valid driver's license to ensure fleet vehicle insurability The Organization And Our Benefits Our team of over 200 professionals throughout the U.S. is dedicated to helping customers control and power the growth of their business.     Viaero’s Phone Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing cellular phones that have been used in the field by our customers and employees. Each technician must perform evaluation and verification of reported failure mechanism, root cause analysis and general repair. In addition, they also perform cell signal testing, operating system evaluation and general troubleshooting. MOST IMPORTANT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform warranty work on cellular phones. • Use electronic test equipment, such as communication analyzers, fluke meters and soldering stations. • Provide technical support in person and via the telephone to customers, sales offices and dealers. • Maintain various parts, tools and equipment, and ensure inventory is on hand. • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers on the telephone and to troubleshoot different situations. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Perform disassembly, evaluation, repair, re-assembly, programming and testing all types of cellular phones. • Perform periodical inventory duties as necessary. • Maintain and organize part cabinets. • Keep abreast of new phones, technologies and troubleshooting techniques through on-line training videos/manuals. • Maintain work stations in a clean organized manner.
