Golden Plumbing is looking for a General Laborer/Helper

Indiana PHCC contractor members are constantly seeking General Laborers/Helpers to join their team. In this role, you will provide support for our plumbing, heating, and cooling technicians by assisting with various tasks on job sites and in our office. This is a full-time, hourly position with the potential for growth and advancement within the organization. If you are a high school student, many of our contractor members will work around your schedule to ensure you are able to finish your high school diploma. Responsibilities: - Assist the field and warehouse personnel with setting up and cleaning projects - Load and unload materials and equipment - Operate hand and power tools as needed - Assist with installation and repair of plumbing, heating, and cooling systems, as allowed by state law - Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks in the office and warehouse - Follow all safety protocols and procedures - Communicate effectively with team members and contractors - Other duties as assigned by supervisors Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent or on track to graduate from high school on time - Previous experience in construction or related field preferred - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods of time - Basic knowledge of hand and power tools - Strong work ethic and willingness to learn - Ability to follow instructions and work independently - Good communication and teamwork skills - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Must pass a background check and drug test Benefits: - Competitive hourly wage - Opportunities for training and professional development - Potential for advancement within the organization If you are a hardworking and reliable individual with a desire to learn and grow in the plumbing, heating, and cooling industry, we encourage you to apply for this position.
