The selected candidates will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced HVAC technicians to develop their skills and knowledge in the field. High School students seeking to make a career in plumbing are also encouraged to apply, and many of the contractor members will provide flexibility to you until you have graduated from high school. This role will primarily be offered to high school seniors who are on track to graduate on time. As a Plumbing Apprentice-in-Training, you will work alongside experienced plumbers and learn the skills and techniques necessary to become a successful plumbing apprentice. You will assist with various plumbing tasks, as are allowed by law, such as helping with the installation and repairing of plumbing systems, reading blueprints, and troubleshooting plumbing issues. This apprenticeship-in-training is designed to provide you with a well-rounded understanding of the plumbing trade and prepare you for a successful succession as a plumbing apprentice. Our members are looking for candidates who are curious about the plumbing industry and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to take on new challenges. No prior experience is required, but a basic understanding of plumbing concepts is preferred.
