JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift CNC Machinist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the milling CNC operations, ensuring the highest quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ·       Coordinate the activities of the 2nd shift milling CNC team. ·       Ensure that all milling CNC machines are set up, operated, and maintained according to company standards. ·       Monitor production schedules and ensure that all deadlines are met. ·       Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and go-no-go gauges. ·       Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the milling process. ·       Train and mentor team members on proper machine operation and safety procedures. ·       Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and quality control. ·       Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. ·       Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES: ·       In-depth knowledge of CNC milling machines and operations. ·       Strong leadership and team management skills. ·       Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. ·       Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. ·       Proficiency in using measuring instruments and tools. ·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ·       Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: ·       High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining is preferred. ·       Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining ·       Experience in programming and setting up CNC mills is preferred. ·       Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to CNC milling operations.
