Who You Are As an Engineering Technician II at Frost, you are an instrumental support. You will be responsible for assisting the petroleum engineer in gathering all historical information provided by the customer or public sources and inputting the data into the engineering software. You will work to Identify any deficiencies in the historical data. You welcome a challenge and want to ensure that the department consistently has accurate data with our signature all-win approach in mind. What You’ll Do • Assist the petroleum engineer in gathering all historical information provided by the customer or public sources and input the data into the engineering software • Identify any deficiencies in the historical data and bring it to the attention of the engineer • Trouble shoot any database issues that prevent the programs from running correctly • Research and analyze engineering data to assist Energy Lending Group in effectively evaluating oil and gas reserves • Proactively create and maintain economic data files for oil and gas software programs to ensure that department consistently has accurate data to utilize within its workflow • Utilize institutional knowledge to create analysis tools for departmental data framework that streamline gathering customer information and assist in making future evaluations easier • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes What You’ll Need • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, preferably engineering, computer science, or in a related field • 2+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry or related experience • Competent using Aries and PHDWin, and other engineering software • Competent using Microsoft computer applications, specifically with Work, Excel, and Access • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong math and computer skills • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Additional Preferred Skills • Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry Our Benefits At Frost, we care about your health, your family, and your future and strive to have our benefits reflect that.
