Duties/Responsibilities: • Ability to read and interpret customer blueprints and company operation sheets to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. • Flat Lap surfaces and Lap Diameters (tolerances within .0001", Surface finishes within 8 ra) • Inspect or measure finished workpieces to determine conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as a microscope, gauges, micrometers, indicators, and optical flats. • Maintains specifications by observing tooling; recording measurements; detecting discrepancies; trouble shooting processes; replacing worn tools. • Precision clean parts, as required. • Performs other duties as assigned.
