Position Summary: Assist in the implementation of the skills training program for all orientees. Responsible for assisting in planning of schedules, coordination of activities. Monitoring of asepsis, compliance with universal precautions and the documentation of continuous quality improvement activities. Qualifications EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years Central Processing or Operating Room experience required with direct knowledge of Operating Room instruments including, but not limited to, orthopedic, laparoscopic, aseptic technique and infection control. Must have direct experience with steam autoclaves, Steris units and ETO or Sterrad sterilization. Inventory management skills and three years of lead technician or CPD/OR supervisory experience required. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: High School diploma or equivalent required. Current certification required. QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrates leadership skills. Assists in the training of staff and orientees. Ability to organize, monitor and document the training program for all staff/new personnel. Monitors work flow, quality of work and promote effective communication. Maintain a high level of skills as a central processing technician. Must be dependable, reliable and able to maintain confidentiality. Responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following: • Provide frontline troubleshooting of all Pharmacy information systems including, but not limited to: Pyxis, Par-X, Compounding 360, Pharmacy Logistics and Repackaging. • Works collaboratively with Care Connect team to assess and resolve issues related to the electronic health records IT System. • Completes assigned daily compliance reports related to billing and/or systems compliance. • Develop, implement, and maintain monitoring processes to evaluate the effectiveness of services provided and adjust these processes to meet the needs of the institution. • Manages and reviews implementation plans, monitors and assists installation activities conducted by hospital staff and outside vendors to ensure agreed timetables are maintained. Qualifications Experience: • Three (3) years’ experience as a pharmacy technician or information systems analyst required • Experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital pharmacy environment preferred • Additional experience in managing automated cabinetry (Pyxis) or other pharmacy IT systems preferred • Prior experience overseeing information technology systems preferred Education • Bachelor’s Degree required Licenses/Certifications • Current National Pharmacy Technician Certification required • Pharmacy registration with Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection within 30 days of hire and by March 31st of each year. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent. License and Certification : Pharmacy Technician Certification (within 3months of hire) or enrollment in a Pre-Pharmacy/Pharmacy college program. Job Summary Maintains repairs and constructs hospital buildings, structures and furniture built of a wide variety of materials to ensure good appearance and optimal functioning. Reports to: Carpentry Foreman. Installs/builds/tears down various materials to meet project specifications.May include foundations, walls, floors ceilings, counters, work stations, partitions, doors, glass windows, trim and molding, hardware repairs and locksmithing.Ensures all work is completed to meet applicable codes, standards and plans.Repair worn and broken wooden furniture using hand and power tools. Designs and constructs structures such as cabinets, doors, furniture, and offices utilizing knowledge of the carpentry trade, tools (i.e. measuring, drilling, finishing, etc.) in order to meet the needs of customer departments in accordance with the blueprint. Installs locks by measuring, drilling, and mounting locking devices in order to assist departments in maintaining security. Some, but not all of these positions determine types and amounts of materials and labor needed to complete projects by formulating plans and sketches so cost can be estimated and/or supplies ordered. Completes work reports according to department procedures so appropriate records are maintained. Works effectively as a team member within the department and with customers to provide quality service to hospital units through communication, cooperation, and collaboration. Qualifications • Completion of apprenticeship program or equivalent experience • 1 year of carpentry experience • Healthcare or Commercial carpentry experience preferred. Job Summary Performs electrical duties in and around the buildings to repair, maintain, and install low voltage electrical systems in accordance with codes and hospital priorities J Ob Responsibilities • Inspects electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures and appliance and troubleshoots system failures. Identifies faults and hazards and repairs as needed. Provides specifications on equipment replacement • Installs and maintains various low voltage electrical systems and may be required to work on garage doors, automatic doors, television systems, fiber cabling, power supplies, negative air pressure systems, med gas alarm panels, blanket and fluid warmers, overhead paging systems, intercom/door release systems, clock systems, pneumatic tube stations, wiring in underground manhole systems, alarm systems, security systems (panic alarms, fire alarms, sprinklers), automatic transfer switches and rigging, radiation detection systems, elevator recall, wireless access point cabling, door strike and mag lock cabling • Documents electrical maintenance reports including use of the electronic work order system • Inspects Class A/B and C underground storage tanks • Tests emergency lighting and signs, eye wash stations and electrical receptacles to ensure they are working properly • Replaces 4,160 & 11,500 volt feeder switching, fuse replacement and breaker racking • Install, maintain and repair electrical panels, LED lighting, surgical lighting, LIM installation • Outdoor electrical installation, maintenance and repair. May include work on automatic gates, overhead garage doors, EV chargers, FAA required Life Star lighting, exterior lighting, emergency blue light systems and arial lift work • Installs new variable frequency drives (including start up, programming & maintenance), Carrier CCN controller troubleshooting & upgrading, conduit installation (up to 4 inches) and electrical wire pulling up to 500 MCM, 500 KVA UPS installation and maintenance, electric motor troubleshooting and replacement up to 100HP • IDF closet buildouts including installation of racks, cable management systems, cabling, testing and troubleshooting • Recycles hazardous materials (batteries, ballasts, fluorescents lamps, electronic components) in the proper manner • ALC HVAC control installation including G5, and LGR controllers, vav controls, thermostats, pressure sensors, freeze stats, belimo valves and smoke alarms • Installation and replacement of switches, plugs, dimmers, photocell, occupancy sensors, contactors, rib relays, cube relays, wave sensors, alternating relays, lead lag float systems. • Inspect and test emergency generators and transfer switches • Perform other related duties as required Qualifications • Four (4) year electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent • Valid CT E2 Licensure required, v alid E1 Licensure preferred. • Ability to work in confined spaces, including manholes • Ability to read blueprints and understand wiring diagram We take great care of careers. Job Summary Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services. Job Responsibilities • Work with all areas of the HVAC trade and refrigeration operating systems currently used in the industry • Install, repair and maintain Roof Top Unit Operating Systems, Building Management Systems, refrigeration equipment, chiller units, air handlers & cooling towers • Perform maintenance and repairs on Medical Gas lines • Install, repair and maintain piping (copper, Pex, screw pipe, PVC, CPVC, gas), duct work, ductless split systems, boilers (water & steam), water source heat pump systems • Problem solve HVAC system issues using hand tools, testing equipment and measuring devices to evaluate and repair systems • Abide by proper reclaiming and environmentally sound disposal of refrigerants currently used in industry • Perform other related duties as required Qualifications • 3 years general commercial HVAC • Valid CT Heating & Cooling, Medical Gas (MG-1 or MG-2) and Freon Recovery licensure. • Follow all procedures when it pertains to organization procedures and OSHA requirements • Able to operate electronic devices • Ability to communicate and understand directions. • Ability to braze and sodder piping • Ability to work in a crouching or standing position for a long period of time. • Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding for long periods of time. • Ability to effectively operate in high locations.
